Solutions — Manufacturing & Factory
Keep the Line
Running.
Safely.
Production downtime costs thousands of dollars per hour. Whether servicing overhead conveyors, positioning heavy subassemblies, or maintaining cleanroom HVAC — the right lift gets the job done in the maintenance window available, without introducing new contamination risks to the production environment.

Where Chenlift Works
Cleanrooms in semiconductor fabrication operate under strict particle-count limits. Any hydraulic oil drip triggers immediate contamination protocols — decontamination, equipment removal, and requalification. The MD Series eliminates this risk entirely: the Electric Lifting Push Rod drive system contains no hydraulic fluid of any kind.
With an 800 mm machine width, the MD Series passes through standard cleanroom door openings without removing door frames or widening access corridors. Self-propelled with zero turning radius for repositioning between bays. ESD-safe platform and tyre options are available as OEM configurations for electrostatic-sensitive environments.
Body-in-white assembly, engine installation, and heavy subassembly operations require workers to operate at height with large tooling and heavy components. Standard scissor lifts at 230–320 kg platform capacity are frequently insufficient for two operators plus material. The MK T-Series provides 1,000 kg platform capacity for production-line assembly tasks requiring working height combined with high payload.
The MK Series reaches 8–18 m working height with platform sizes up to 2.45 × 1.35 m — sized to match an automotive assembly station footprint. AC 220V/380V or optional DC battery power for shift-length operation without recharging. For assembly bays where the platform stays in one position for an extended period, the manual push format avoids unnecessary space-consuming drive systems.
Paper mills, steel plants, aerospace hangars, and logistics facilities run overhead conveyors, crane bridges, process piping, and lighting at heights from 8 m to 22 m. Maintenance requires two-person working decks, fast repositioning between equipment, and reliable operation over extended maintenance shifts.
The MX Series self-propelled scissor lift covers 5.8–17.8 m with platform capacities up to 320 kg and a working deck up to 3.0 × 1.15 m. For heights above 17.8 m, ME Series aluminium mast lifts reach 22 m (multi-mast configuration) with lower platform capacity for single-operator access to lighting and structural inspection positions.

High-Bay Note — For factory bays above 17.8 m requiring an indoor electric platform, ME Series aluminium mast lifts reach up to 22 m working height (multi-mast ME2200-6). Contact Chenlift with your facility height and payload requirements for a full product recommendation.
“We deployed 20 Chenlift MD Series oil-free mast lifts across four electronics assembly buildings in Binh Duong. The contamination risk from conventional hydraulic lifts made them unsuitable for our cleanroom zones — the MD Series solved that completely. The machine width passes our cleanroom door openings without modification, and ESD-safe platform options were added as a custom configuration. After-sales support via video call was excellent during commissioning.”
FAQ
Common Questions from
Factory Buyers
Questions on product selection, contamination compliance, and documentation for factory commissioning.
Ask Our Team →What is the difference between MD Series and MX Series for factory use?
The MD Series uses an Electric Lifting Push Rod drive with zero hydraulic fluid — it is the recommended choice for cleanrooms, food-grade facilities, electronics manufacturing, and pharmaceutical environments where any hydraulic oil is unacceptable. The MX Series uses a conventional electric hydraulic system and is the general-purpose choice for overhead maintenance in standard factory environments. MD reaches 7.7 m max; MX covers 5.8–17.8 m. If contamination is not a concern and height above 7.7 m is required, MX Series is the standard recommendation.
Does the MD Series have any oil at all in its lifting system?
No. The MD Series lifting mechanism uses an Electric Lifting Push Rod — there is no hydraulic cylinder, no hydraulic pump, no hydraulic oil reservoir, and no hydraulic fluid of any kind in the lifting system. This eliminates the contamination pathway from the machine’s vertical movement entirely. The drive wheels use a small amount of lubricant as on any electric machine, but there is no hydraulic system that can drip, spray, or leak. This is the machine’s primary design differentiator for cleanroom and food-grade applications.
What is the maximum platform capacity of the MK Series?
The standard MK Series (MK600 through MK1600) has a platform capacity of 500 kg. The MK T-Series — comprising MK600T, MK900T, and MK1200T — has a platform capacity of 1,000 kg. This is the highest platform capacity in Chenlift’s indoor scissor lift range and is designed for automotive assembly, heavy machinery maintenance, and industrial applications where two operators plus heavy tooling or material loads must be supported simultaneously at working height.
What documentation is provided with each machine for factory audit purposes?
Every Chenlift machine ships with a CE Declaration of Conformity (covering EU Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC), CE mark on the identification plate, English-language operator and maintenance manual, and packing documentation. Technical files for each model are available on request and are required by some multinational factory audit processes. Third-party pre-shipment inspection by SGS, Bureau Veritas, or TÜV Rheinland can be arranged at order stage. Risk assessment templates and maintenance schedule documentation can be provided for factory commissioning packages.
Are custom platform dimensions or ESD-safe configurations available?
Yes. ESD-safe (anti-static) tyre and platform deck configurations are available for the MD Series as OEM options, suitable for electrostatic-sensitive electronics manufacturing environments. Stainless-steel platform decks compatible with washdown protocols are also available for food-grade and cleanroom applications. Custom platform sizes for specific production-line footprint requirements can be discussed at the time of order — provide your dimensional requirements and load specification to the Chenlift sales team.
For factory bays above 17.8 m, what is the recommended solution?
For indoor factory bays above 17.8 m working height, the ME Series aluminium mast lift is the recommendation. The ME Series covers up to 22 m working height in the ME2200-6 multi-mast configuration (6 masts). Platform capacity on the larger ME units is 125–200 kg depending on model, making them suitable for single-operator lighting inspection, structural inspection, and overhead system access rather than heavy maintenance work. Contact Chenlift with your facility height, payload requirement, and access constraints for a specific configuration recommendation.
