Chenlift is a CE-certified manufacturer, ISO 9001 quality-managed, and an IPAF member. Full Declaration of Conformity and Technical File documentation is available per model. For Saudi Arabia, UAE, Brazil, US and India we support the regional conformity schemes required for import — specified at the quotation stage, delivered with the shipment.

What our CE certification means in practice
Chenlift machines sold into the EU arrive with a CE Declaration of Conformity (DoC) in the machine’s Technical File, the CE mark on the machine identification plate, and an operator manual in compliance with Annex I of the Machinery Directive. No extra customs gymnastics, no last-minute “can you send the DoC” emails from your freight forwarder.

Chenlift sits on three pillars buyers and rental companies look for: compliance with the EU Machinery Directive (CE), a certified quality management system (ISO 9001), and industry membership of the global powered-access federation (IPAF).
EU Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC
CE marking is the mandatory conformity mark for machinery placed on the EU market. It signals that the product meets the essential health and safety requirements of the Machinery Directive, supported by applicable harmonised standards (EN 280 for MEWPs).
Quality management system
Chenlift’s entire production process — from raw material incoming inspection to final pre-shipment inspection — is certified to ISO 9001. This is the internationally recognised standard for quality management and the baseline most buyers require in a supplier audit.
International Powered Access Federation member
IPAF is the global authority for powered access equipment. Its PAL Card is the most widely recognised international operator qualification for MEWPs. Chenlift’s membership signals commitment to industry safety standards, operator training practices and equipment compliance.

Import-ready documentation for every major export market
CE is the foundation, but different markets add their own conformity schemes on top. We support the full set of regional programmes required for import into our major export destinations. Specify regional conformity at the quotation stage — it affects both the bill of materials and the documentation timeline, and cannot be added after production starts.

Can Chenlift send the CE Declaration of Conformity before I place an order?
Yes. We send a sample DoC and the reference to the certificate covering the model you’re quoting on request — typically within one working day. The final DoC with your order’s unique serial number and ship date is issued with the shipment itself and delivered in the document pack.
Does the CE certificate cover every model in a product family?
CE certificates are issued per model family, and each family certificate explicitly lists the model numbers and working-height range it covers. For any specific model you’re considering, we can confirm which certificate applies and send the PDF. If you’re specifying an OEM-custom configuration, we’ll flag any impact on the CE coverage at the quotation stage.
What happens to my CE certificate when Regulation 2023/1230 becomes applicable in January 2027?
Machines placed on the market under the current Directive 2006/42/EC before the applicability date continue to carry valid CE certification for their service life. Orders placed with us after the transition are prepared under the new Regulation. We can confirm the exact transition status and applicable framework for any specific model in the quotation.
Do you support third-party inspection and certification audits?
Yes. Pre-shipment inspection by SGS, Bureau Veritas, TÜV, Intertek and any buyer-nominated inspector is fully supported — arrange at order placement so the production schedule accommodates the inspection date. Every Chenlift machine also receives 100% in-house pre-shipment inspection as standard, documented in a QC report sent with the shipment.
What documents are delivered with every shipment?
Standard document pack delivered with each machine:
- Commercial invoice and packing list
- CE Declaration of Conformity with the machine’s unique serial number
- Operator manual (English standard; other languages on request)
- Maintenance manual and spare parts list
- Pre-shipment QC inspection report
- Wiring and hydraulic schematics
- Test certificate for the machine’s declared load and stability tests
- Any market-specific conformity certificates specified on the PO (SABER CoC, ECAS, etc.)
